Right in the Südstadt
The Südstadt is a special corner of Wilhelmshaven: once housing for the navy's workers, shaped by the grand imperial-era architecture that still gives the quarter its nostalgic charm today. You can almost feel the history here, and enjoy a modern buzz at the same time.
That same mix runs right through our house: terracotta walls, a mosaic floor that echoes every colour in the place, real local art on the walls and favourite pieces in every corner, all with a great deal of care for detail. Nothing off the peg.
One family, one restaurant, one Kiez
Behind the hotel stands the Kara-Ali family, with many years' experience in hospitality. Just 50 metres away we also own the Lebanese restaurant L'Orient, a combination you won't find anywhere else. Our house sits quietly near the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Brücke, a short walk from the town centre and just 300 metres from the water.
We don't make a great fuss. We put our faith in honest hospitality, character and an eye for detail, and in everyone feeling a little at home with us.
